The thought behind it
You already know where you're going. You just need to know whether to leave now or finish your coffee.
Get on board is a palm-sized display for one local stop. It quietly keeps your next departures in view, using your walk time to make the answer personal. Put it on the fridge or by the front door and glance on your way out.
Why you might want one
Your regular stop, your direction and the departures that matter, visible at a glance.
Add your walk time and the display can turn a departure time into the thing you really need to know: when to leave.
One shared glance by the door helps take the refreshing, scrolling and last-minute guesswork out of leaving home.
Made for real homes
The current design is magnetic and wall-mountable, so it can live beside the keys, on the fridge or at the front door. The e-ink screen has no glow and keeps its image visible between updates.
How it would work
Pick your regular stop, direction and any routes you care about.
Tell it your walk time and the parts of the week when departures should refresh most often.
See upcoming services at rest, or tap once for a live “leave in” countdown.
Recharge, not replace
We are targeting roughly three months between charges, with a replaceable battery so the product can keep going for years.
Quiet technology
No backlight. No notifications. No scrolling. Just the departures you chose, drawn in crisp black and white.
Small details, considered
The concept includes an accessible battery compartment, integrated magnets and a simple wall-mount slot. These details are still being refined, but the intention is clear: a useful object that earns its place and lasts.

The practical questions
Not yet. Get on board is in development, and this page is here to find out whether enough people want one. Joining the list is the best way to help it happen.
We are planning an Australia-first launch, beginning with Transport for NSW data. Interest from elsewhere still matters, and your signup country helps us understand where to look next.
The plan is one purchase with the online service included and no subscription. Final pricing and service terms will be confirmed before any pre-orders open.
The current concept uses home Wi-Fi to update departures. Setup is planned through a simple web page, with no companion app or user account required.
Help decide what gets made
